Concordance Names Dr. Roderick Nunn to Its Board of Directors

Concordance, a CARF accredited, re-entry non-profit headquartered in St. Louis, announced today that Dr. Roderick Nunn, Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at SSM Health and former Executive Vice President, Head of Education & Employment at Concordance, has joined the organization’s board of directors.

“I am so humbled to have Rod join our board of directors,” said Danny Ludeman, Concordance Chairman & CEO. “Rod joined Concordance in 2016 and immediately impacted our organization in many ways, including developing our entire education, job readiness, and employment curriculum and services. We are so blessed to have Rod continue on with our organization as a member of our board.”

In his role at SSM Health, Nunn provides system leadership to drive workforce, workplace, and marketplace DEI initiatives in service to the organization’s mission. In his prior role at Concordance, he oversaw the organization’s Education & Employment division and provided strategic leadership to the organization. Nunn’s prior experience in higher education, workforce development, and state government perfectly aligned with the work he developed while at Concordance.

As a board member, I look forward to continuing to support this important work as it evolves and expands to other markets,” said Nunn. “The healing-first model is an important contribution to the workforce development field, especially for returning citizen and other marginalized populations.”

Prior to joining Concordance, Nunn served as an executive at St. Louis Community College where he was Vice Chancellor of Workforce Solutions and Campus President. He previously directed the public workforce system for three Governors in Illinois and Missouri. Nunn earned a Doctor of Management degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus, a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield, and a Bachelor of Music Degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
